Collect research data, trace it from source to analysis.
EnaResearch is an end-to-end research data platform for hospitals, universities, research centers, labs, research groups, clinics and independent researchers. Collect data with its source, see its quality, combine it with clinical context, and get reproducible results from versioned datasets and pre-approved analyses. The AI assistant is optional.
- A separate environment per organization
- No accounts for participants
- Analysis plans approved before results
When research data is scattered, trust is lost
Wearables, phones and clinical records produce data every day. But if it is unclear which participant, which study and which permission a piece of data belongs to, it cannot be used in research.
One person, several records
The same participant is registered separately in different studies; spelling differences and missing identifiers hide duplicates.
Too much access, too little record
In shared spreadsheets and folders, nobody can trace who accessed which participant’s data.
Data without provenance
When device, unit, measurement time and transfer path are lost, data quality cannot be shown later.
Results you cannot reproduce
Months later, nobody knows which filters and which cut-off produced a hand-made dataset or analysis.
Five steps from study to analysis
The approval flow, participant access, data quality, clinical records, datasets and analyses are available today. The ingestion pipeline is live; the iOS and Android apps await store release and the Chileaf integration is in development.
- 1
Plan the study and get it approved
Define the protocol, team, metrics and eligibility criteria; the study starts once the organization owner approves it.
- 2
Register and activate participants
Register with matching within the organization and hand over the QR activation card; the participant sets a PIN without an account.
- 3In development
Data comes in from devices
Data from Apple Health, Health Connect and Chileaf arrives with its source and time. The ingestion pipeline is live; the apps await store release and Chileaf is in development.
- 4
Check quality, add clinical context
Suspicious values are flagged but never changed; hospital stays, clinical events and manual measurements are recorded with revision history.
- 5
Build the dataset and analysis
Export versioned datasets as CSV or for Excel, SPSS and R; the analysis plan is approved before any result. The AI assistant is optional.
The research data lifecycle
Eight of nine features are available today. Wearable data stays marked “In development” until the apps are in the stores and the Chileaf integration is complete.
Study management
Approved lifecycle, PI and co-investigators, change requests, metric selection and dashboards.
Participant registration & matching
Matching by person identifier, study pseudonyms, participation statuses, withdrawal choices and the participant panel.
Participant access without accounts
6-character participant code, single-use activation card, PIN and the organization’s participant web area.
Wearables & health data
In developmentA live ingestion pipeline and catalog for Apple Health and Health Connect; apps await store release, Chileaf in development.
Standardization & data quality
Versioned metric catalog, validation, de-duplication, quality flags, completeness and sync status.
Research datasets & exports
Versioned definitions, event windows, pseudonymized CSV, Excel, SPSS and R output, a manifest and audit.
Clinical records & manual entry
Hospital stays, clinical events, manual measurements and eligibility, with revision history and CSV/FHIR R4 import.
Variables & statistics
Versioned variables, missing values with a reason, and statistics from analysis plans approved before results.
AI research assistant
Optional, off-by-default assistant for test suggestions, result interpretation and report drafts; it never computes.
For research teams that collect and analyze data
EnaResearch is designed for hospitals, universities, research centers, labs, research groups, departments, clinics and independent researchers. An organization can also be a single researcher.
Hospitals and clinics
Clinical research units, clinics and research teams within hospitals.
Universities and labs
Faculties, institutes, departments, labs and research groups.
Research centers and independent researchers
Centers running multi-study data collection programs and researchers managing their own studies.
Authorization lives on the server, not in the interface
Each organization runs in its own environment; every request is authorized on the server and sensitive actions are written to a chained audit trail.
Per-organization environment
Each organization has its own application stack, database and database user; the organization code is never treated as authorization.
Server-side authorization
Identity, role, study team and action are checked on the server on every request; the default is deny.
Pseudonyms and keyed hashing
Study pseudonyms in research data; the person identifier is kept only as a keyed hash. Groups smaller than 5 are hidden in aggregates.
Chained audit trail
Changes, matching searches, sign-in attempts and dataset downloads in an HMAC-chained log.
For research teams in different countries
EnaResearch is designed for organizations in Türkiye, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Identity, language and hosting are not tied to a single country.
Identity not tied to a country
The organization chooses the person identifier: its own record number, NHS number, BSN, AHV/AVS, KVNR, Turkish ID number or another code it defines.
Hosting location by contract
Because each organization is deployed separately, the hosting region or country is agreed with the organization at setup.
Turkish and English
The interface is in Turkish and English today; name matching also understands special letters of European languages.
Designed with regulation in mind
Designed to support GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP and KVKK obligations; legal roles and basis remain with the organization.
