Eligibility
Define inclusion and exclusion criteria in the EnaResearch study protocol and record per participant whether each is met. Audited; does not block enrollment.
- Admin panel
Inclusion and exclusion criteria are part of an EnaResearch study's protocol. The team records, per participant, whether each criterion is met. The result (Eligible or Not eligible) is saved with who checked it and when, and written to the audit log. It does not block participation by itself; EnaResearch makes no automatic eligibility decision.
Required role
- The PI defines the criteria in the study wizard.
- Any team member records the check in the participant panel.
Define the criteria
In the study wizard, step Data scope, under Inclusion and exclusion criteria, click Add criterion, choose Inclusion or Exclusion and write the Criterion. Do not enter personal data. In an approved study the criteria change only through a change request with owner approval. See Approvals and change requests.
Record a participant's eligibility
Open the participant panel and find Eligibility.
For each criterion, choose Met or Not met.
Click Save eligibility. The panel shows the result:
- Eligible: all inclusion criteria met, no exclusion criterion.
- Not eligible: an inclusion criterion is not met or an exclusion criterion applies.
If the criteria change after a check, the panel says "The criteria changed after this check; check again."
